Wind Ridge is the Devu Governors residence. It is located outside Devu City.
Built in 2397 by Thomas "Mick" O'Rielly, then Executive Officer of Starbase Horizon. Originally designed as a horse ranch, Wind Ridge was originally designed as a retreat for Starfleet Officers. It also functioned as a professional horse-breeding facility, providing mounts for the Devu Mounted Police.
When Wind Ridge was destroyed in the 8472, most of the horses were saved by Devu Mounties, who risked their lives to move the horses to the fields nearby. Afterwards, Devu Governor Richard Getz rebuilt the facility, turning it into the Governor's Residence. The West Guest House is built on the foundation of the original cabin.
Today, Wind Ridge is used for formal gatherings, including the annual Governor's Ball. It is also used for diplomatic retreats.
