Sorry @ Tom
didn't know you had forum over here for this ;)

The page I wished to edit was Hope One's.
The particular reason was to update current crew which is out of date already.
Apparently, only a mod, admin etc, can edit that page.

Our official web page is out of date so I've kept a page for our crew that isn't.
It would be a shame if the wiki was also left out of date

So, I'm asking you to make me a mod here so I can keep our pages for Hope One up to date. No, I'm not jockeying for some Wiki position here, just for the tools necessarry to keep Hope One's slice of the pie cleaned up and perhaps more complete.

Petter, our CO, jumped right in at first - but has no staying power in maintaining such things (just an observation, not a slam), but I'm far more likely to do the "grunt work". Besides being a webmistress for several sites, I've worked on on other wiki's.

I won't go monkeying with the work of other areas of the wiki. I might clean up the grammar of my CO (he's Norwegian), but as I said, my interest is in the Hope One pages.

Katie

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Updating an existing page

I'd like to streamline the listing of "Staff by Department/job duties". My original intent was to create a spot where one could easily see the other players that had their approximate duties and be able to work with those people. But as of this posting, there are 19 departments listed. Which can we combine to streamline the listings into a useful group?

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Dept/Job duty listing

I'm sure this has already been resolved, but shouldn't it be the person who designed the station who is correct? This is a bizarre analogy, but just because, say, Captain Kirk reckons there should be a basketball court on the bridge, that doesn't make it so.

But I suppose whoever's specs are on Horizon's site are the ones that should be used, whoever's they are, since they've been up for a while as far as I can tell.

Anyway, that's just what I think… *cowers from possible basketball attack*

Forum category: Hidden / Deleted threads
Forum thread: What is canon?

Hey folks- intrepid council chair Dave Church here, putting some stuff out there for your consideration (I'll have Forrest's bio done eventually… really).

I'm looking at creating an informational page for the Captain's Log, and possibly using it as a scheduling mechanism, so that people know when we record, who's been on, who we're having as guests, maybe even solicit feedback as to who people want to be as guests.

My first problem: I'm not really sure where I'd put it. Is that something we'd link off the main page, or is there a sub-category that might fit under? And as it's more RL information than Trek/BL canon, is that even something we should have on this?

Lend me your ears!

Forum category: Hidden / Deleted threads
Forum thread: Captain's Log

Even if they tried, however, the Warchief (stolen from Starfleet to become the original Cromwell) carried Starfleet secrets, so the DFA would have them too.

Forum category: Hidden / Deleted threads
Forum thread: Torpedoes
