Distinguishing Features and Characteristics
Madine's appearance is quite similar to a humans. In fact, at a first glance, one could swear that she was human. Her hair is at a quickly maintainable length. She tends to appear complacent if not happy, most of the time. The most discernable feature is a few light scars on her body that she tends to keep hidden when possible. These scars originate from past healings that were difficult for her body to handle.

Madine's instinct has always been to help, and she has found that doing as she is told often pleases those around her. As a result she is often eager to receive commands and follow through on them. Not only does it make those around her happy, but through transference of their positive energy, it keeps her happier as well.
Background
Madine's first memories are that of being raised by Romulans to be in service to them. The supervising Romulans during her training found her to be a slow learning child, not realizing that she was not Terran. Her speech capabilities were difficult for her, but she did gain enough skills to speak, though more complex sentences take her some time to utter still. When an accident at the training facility occurred, Madine instinctively stepped forward to sooth and heal the injured Romulan. She, and all those observing were shocked to find her transferring both the pain and the injury to her own body.
After this occurrence, Madine was pushed quickly through the rest of her slave training, her slow speech capabilities forgotten. Ever since then she has been serving aboard military ships for the Romulan Star Empire, usually in service to the Commanding Officer. Her abilities were used often in the beginning, until it was discovered that there was a limit to how much Madine's body could handle. Madine's physical healing powers were since reserved for drastic situations. She however is still capable of relieving emotional pain and stress quite regularly, making her a valuable slave still.
